About Jane

I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and a Clinical Hypnotherapist.  I am also fully trained and accredited by Cruse in bereavement support and work as a volunteer for them.

My first experience with hypnotherapy happened over 15 years ago, shortly after having a very traumatic year and undergoing a major operation. I ended up being agrophobic, suffering debilitating panic attacks, anxiety and was housebound. Having two small children to look after I had no choice but to address the underlying issues and therefore saw a hypnotherapist. After 12 sessions my life changed and I have never looked back.  I have seen a hypnotherapist once more since that time for a different issue and again found this to be effective.

Hypnotherapy can address many areas in your life that can cause you undue stress, anxiety and unhappiness. The long term benefits can positively influence how you lead the rest of your life just as they did for me.

Counselling can be life changing as it allows you time to explore what is happening in your life, why it is having such an effect on you now and how to deal with it and move forward.

Because of my strong belief (and personal success) in the benefits of hypnotherapy and counselling I aim to fully support you using the skills I have learnt, in any changes you would like in your life, be it addressing fears or phobias, anxiety or stress, panic attacks, lack of self esteem or confidence, sleep or weight issues, or any other areas.

I am fully insured and am governed by The Code of Ethics of The Hypnotherapy Society and The Code of Ethics of the National Counselling Society.

I look forward to helping you make the changes that you wish to make, in order to achieve a happier, more peaceful, and fulfilling life.
